Temple Room Renovation
- Ceiling work is well underway, with new electrical wiring, fire sprinkler lines, and HVAC ducting being installed to meet modern safety and comfort standards.
- The structural frame for the altar has been stood up — a major milestone that brings us closer to completing our sacred space.
- On the west wall, brand new doors and windows have been installed, enhancing both natural light and energy efficiency in the temple.
Kitchen Interior
- Our new commercial kitchen is taking shape! A large ventilation hood system has been installed, and ductwork is being prepped for ceiling integration. Framing and rough-in plumbing are in progress, marking a major step toward a fully functioning commercial kitchen to support our Food for Life initiative:
- Weekly prasadam distribution to underserved communities, festival, and Sunday feast cooking.
- Outreach programs to local shelters, schools, and events.
Rooftop HVAC Equipment
- Major ventilation units have been installed. These include dual exhaust fans and a make-up air unit — essential components for safe and efficient kitchen airflow.
- The equipment is commercial-grade, energy-efficient, and perfectly suited for the scale of our operations.
Underground Utility Work
- Outside, utility trench work is ongoing:
- A dedicated water line for the fire sprinkler system has been successfully brought to the building, ensuring reliable, high-pressure water access for emergency protection.
- Over 450 feet of trenching and excavation was completed to lay a 4-inch high-pressure pipeline, specially designed to support the new fire suppression system.
- Simultaneously, drainage pipelines have been laid underground, improving site water management and preparing the foundation for future development.
- These upgrades will ensure we meet all health and safety standards for food preparation.
